IMAN: Where are you from?
            -Italy

IMAN: And you?
           -We too.

IMAN: Is the first time that you are in Spain?
            - No

IMAN: -You comming and other...
            - Yeah

IMAN: Where are you in Barcelona?
            - Is a class group.

IMAN: - How long are you going to stay here?
             - One week.



SECOND INTERVIEW:

JÚLIA: How long are you going to stay here?
            - For about two weeks.

JÚLIA: Do you take a lot os pictures? What do you like taking pictures of?
            -Yes

JÚLIA: Have you heart about the catalan process for Independence?
            - No, never.

JÚLIA: Will you come back again?
            - Yes, sure.

PROJECT LOVE

You are my everything. Thank you for loving me the way no one can. You understand me and you know just how to make things right. You will never know just how much I love you, but I will spend the rest of my days trying to show you. You saved me from the worst, and you are always there for me. Prize-winning photo.

This is a photo of Cristóbal Manuel. He was won the prize Ortega y Gasset de Periodismo Gráfico in 2011. It was taken in Haiti. This photo reflects the harmony and solitude of the human being in a chaotic environment and hopeless.

I will go to describe you this photo from foreground to background because in the foreground there is the most important thing but for that has mean, its necessary all that you see in the background. In the center or middle of foreground there is a boy who is affected by earthquake in Haiti. He is walking without clothes and he is back to the photographer. This boy has black skin.

Finally, in the background there is the scene that makes us understand the meaning of the photo. In the bottom there are ruins caused by earthquakes its show us the poverty, misfortune, ruin which has become Haiti  since the earthquake. 

Michael Christopher Brown

               

Biography

Michael Christopher Brown was raised in the Skagit Valley, a farming community in Washington State. Often using a camera phone as a primary recording device, his current work explores the ongoing conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In Sakhalin (2008), he captured the remote Russian island, while Broadway (2009) focused on New Yorkers amidst the financial crisis. He also put together a series of works from road and train trips throughout China (2009/2010) and, in 2011, documented the Libyan Revolution using a camera phone, exploring ethical distance and the iconography of warfare. He contributes in the National Geographic Magazine, Time and The New York Times Magazine. His photographs were exhibited at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Instituto Cervantes (New York), The Museum of Fine Arts (Houston), the Annenberg Space for Photography and the Brooklyn Museum. His forthcoming book, Libyan Sugar, will be published in 2014 by Twin Palms Publishers.

I describe this photo from the background to the foreground because the most importantly things are in the foreground and I let that for the end.

-      In the foreground you can see some things. In the upper part you can see fuzzy clouds and, with difficulty you can see a mountain.

-      In front of that there are some trees.

-      In the central part, there is a green principal big tree. And with that there is a one black person.

-      In the middle of picture there is a dirt track where there is the most important piece of the picture, the black girl who has a boy in the back.

ITALY

This is a photo of the best day of my adolescence. This is the arrival to Italy with my friend Ophèlie the last 22 of May.

The photo shows the exact moment when we arrived to airport of Italy.

There are our mathematics teacher and a lot of unknown people that arrived in airport too. Ophèlie and I were bringing a big suitcase where we have clothes for a week in Italy.

Now, I will go to explain the details of the photo. I describe this picture from right to left. In the right, exactly in the background, there are some people that they are sitting in the chairs of airport. If you go more to left, you can see me. Yes, I’m the red girl. I bring a red T-shirt and red jacked. My shoes are red too. I have one grey jogging jacked. In the photo I’m really nervous because that was the first time that I traveled so far from Catalonia. In the background there is our mathematics teacher. Travel with the people who have been with you for so many years is very special. You know I will not repeat this experience.

Next to me you can see my friend Ophélie. She has a black T-shirt and jeans and brown shoes and scarf too.

The photographer was Quim, our Catalan teacher. His intentions were most of all for we have a memory for our future. I never forget they week, seriously!      

Differences about the film and the book (Romeo and Juliet)

SETTING:
The first difference is the setting or place that happen the story. In the film, the place is a modern city where Capulets and Montagues life very well. They control the city thanks to his money. In the book the story happen in a medieval time. The story takes place in Verona, Italy but in the movie the location is Verona Beach, Florida. There are places like a river, green fields, ancient church, etc. and in the film are places like a beach, a modern streets, etc.
In the film there is one place that is a little strange.There is a place that has a some caravans. This are situate in the middle of a desert.

Other divergence is the Juliet's house because in the middle age there aren't residences like the film.

            

IMAGERY:

In the film the water that apears isn't a lake, is a swiming pool where Romeo fall down when he go to the Juliet's hause. I think that the moon mean that if they are separated they are narby becaus they look the same moon.

LANGUAGE:

In the film isn't speak in vers and there isn't have a narrator. Is in the book where they speak in vers and where there is a narrator. The vocabulary in the film there are more current than in the book because the story happen in two different times.

THE FANCY DRESS PARTY:

The first difference is the ecstasy that Romeo takes before the party. Is one durg that in the book isn't appears. Other differences are the currency differences on dresses with the past disguys.

ELEMENTS:

There are a lots of varation elements because we speak of modern time and past time. For exemple in the film change the swards for guns. Other differents elements are the rope and dresseds. Other one is the security's hause of Juliets.
