The story of the tell-tale heart is about a mad man who kills an old man because he has a strange eye that the character thinks that is bad. He burried the body in the house floor and when de police went to his house he was converted in a mad men because he listen like ha heartbeat and he was exposed to the crime.

What is the comic relief?
Comic relief usually means a releasing of emotional or other tension. Comic relief often takes the form of a bumbling, wisecracking sidekick of the hero or villain in a work of fiction. A sidekick used for comic relief will usually comment on the absurdity of the hero's situation and make comments that would be inappropriate for a character who is to be taken seriously.

Because it gives a releasing time during tense moments.

Hitchock used people who had mental problems and serial killers. That leads present directors to use psychopaths or sociopaths.

As film critic Roger Ebert has complained, this subjective technique — shooting from the killer’s point of view — has been used to the point of overuse in recent slasher films. Here again, Hitchcock’s imitators fall short of the Master.
