Differences about the film and the book (Romeo and Juliet)

SETTING:
The first difference is the setting or place that happen the story. In the film, the place is a modern city where Capulets and Montagues life very well. They control the city thanks to his money. In the book the story happen in a medieval time. The story takes place in Verona, Italy but in the movie the location is Verona Beach, Florida. There are places like a river, green fields, ancient church, etc. and in the film are places like a beach, a modern streets, etc.
In the film there is one place that is a little strange.There is a place that has a some caravans. This are situate in the middle of a desert.
Other divergence is the Juliet's house because in the middle age there aren't residences like the film.

            

IMAGERY:
In the film the water that apears isn't a lake, is a swiming pool where Romeo fall down when he go to the Juliet's hause. I think that the moon mean that if they are separated they are narby becaus they look the same moon.

LANGUAGE:

In the film isn't speak in vers and there isn't have a narrator. Is in the book where they speak in vers and where there is a narrator. The vocabulary in the film there are more current than in the book because the story happen in two different times.



THE FANCY DRESS PARTY:

The first difference is the ecstasy that Romeo takes before the party. Is one durg that in the book isn't appears. Other differences are the currency differences on dresses with the past disguys.











ELEMENTS:

There are a lots of varation elements because we speak of modern time and past time. For exemple in the film change the swards for guns. Other differents elements are the rope and dresseds. Other one is the security's hause of Juliets.
